Joseph Bitler Bonnage, 47, of New Providence, PA died suddenly of injuries sustained in a truck accident on Wednesday, September 20, 2006. He was the husband of Yvonne Bray-Bonnage. Born in West Chester, he was the son of Joan Bitler Bonnage-Proscino and the late Reese S. Bonnage who died in 1983. He was raised on Colonial Farms, Kaolin and graduated from Kennett High School in 1977. A U.S. Army veteran, he served his active duty in Germany. He continued his career with AAFES EUROPE in Germany from 1980 until 1997. He then returned to live again on Colonial Farms with his family. Recently, he moved to Lancaster County. He was employed by Tipton Trucking Co., Inc., in Oxford. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his step-father, Vincent Proscino; one daughter, Kerrie Bonnage of Walluf, Germany; two sons, Sean and Liam Bonnage of New Providence; his maternal grandmother, Geraldine Bitler of Millville, PA; one sister, Brooke Goulding and her husband, Allyn of Glanaman, Wales; two nieces, Summer and Willow Goulding of Wales; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Family and friends may call from 10-11am on Thursday, September 28 at Foulk & Grieco Funeral Home, 200 Rose Hill Road, West Grove, PA 19390. A memorial service will be held at 11 am. Interment will be in Union Hill Cemetery, Kennett Square, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to the Joseph B. Bonnage Memorial Fund, C/O Linda A. Lobley, WACHOVIA, New Garden Towne Center Financial Center, 400 Scarlet Road, Kennett Square, PA 19348 to benefit the Bonnage children.
